Global warming? Dont sweat it.
Put aside for one minute that global warming is supported by those who have a stake in their theories being accepted. From scientists whose grant money depends on global warming, to organizations that depend on funds from fearful donors, to government agencies that just want more power over your life.
Put all of that aside. Don't worry, don't sweat it. Below is a list of all the global earth shattering disasters that I have survived since my birth.
Born: 1969
Survived:
1. Two worldwide famines (1975 and 1980, predicted by big daddy Paul Erlich)
2. Global Ice Age ( late 70's to early 80's)
3. Acid rain's destruction of our topsoil and water supply (80's)
4. Ozone holes ripping open in the sky and frying all life ( 80's and 90's)
5. The world oceans dieing (90's)
6. I am sure a few have slipped my mind, if you remember any i forgot please leave a comment.
So if your worried about the end of the world. Don't sweat it (pun intended), I survived all the other massively destructive events, so you can certainly survive a little extra heat.
Brief note on Big Daddy Paul R. Erlich is currently the Bing Professor of Population Studies in the department of Biological Sciences at Stanford University. This guy has been making doom and gloom predictions since the late 1960's. He has never been right once, NOT ONCE. Does anyone realize how amazing that is? Think about it, anyone of us could sit down and apply a little bit of common sense and a slight knowledge of history and make thirty predictions about what may happen in the next thirty years. By shear dumb luck we would at least get a few right. Yet this guy has never, ever, ever, gotten anything right. Yet he is hailed as a environmentalist guru by that ilk of people
